C’mon John… you used to live in the UP… something interesting to see? How much space have we got?
OK – you probably don’t want to expose Sam to that part of your life… So the best thing I’ve seen looks like its on your way towards Appleton anyways. The big spring in Palms Book state park. Its pretty cool and definitely worth stopping at. There’s also a huge rebuilt old mining town near there as well. Its called Fayette and I think is fairly close to the big spring area.
All the best,
Larry
Comment by Larry — April 9, 2007 @ 5:46 amAugust 11-12, 2007 – Upper Peninsula (UP) Bark River, Michigan / WSORR Racing and you guys will be hosted by DIRTnewz in the Johnny Greaves / John Marking Dual Pro-4 Pit.
I spent a month in the UP in 2006 and its dang gorgeous…Crandon, WI, Bark River, MI ending up in the Twin Cities of Minne—-so—ta!
Stay in touch! Congrats Sam!
Comment by Tim Sanchez — April 10, 2007 @ 8:55 pmI just toured the Harley factory in York, PA, yesterday. I think it is a must see even if it was only a partial tour…but by the time you guys get there everything should be back up and running. I wonder how many HD’s have been built over the years piecemeal? Anyway, York isn’t much to look at, but you’re only 30 miles away from my bros home in Shillington if you have the time. Also, Gettyberg is rougly an hour away. Did that on Monday and well worth it if you get a guide.
Comment by Uncle "C" — July 4, 2007 @ 5:20 pmBelated Happy Birthday. Sounds like a great trip. Afraid some
